Privacy Policy

Account information. Your name, email address, phone number (optional), and password (stored only as a salted hash — we cannot see it).

Bidding & transactions. Bids you place, auctions you watch, purchases, and payment records. Payment cards are stored and processed by our payment provider (Square); we keep only a reference token and the card's last digits — full card numbers never touch our servers.

Inquiries. Messages you send through our contact and vehicle-inquiry forms, including any contact details you include.

Usage data. Pages visited, the campaign or link that brought you here, and basic device information, collected via cookies and similar technologies described below.

We use your information to operate the marketplace and auctions (accepting bids, notifying you when you win or are outbid, processing the buyer's premium), to respond to inquiries, to personalize what we show and send you, to prevent fraud and abuse, and to meet legal obligations such as tax and title paperwork.

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and a visitor cookie to understand how people find us (for example, which advertisement or social link brought you to a vehicle). We also use privacy- focused, aggregate analytics to measure site performance. We do not sell your browsing data. Blocking cookies in your browser will break the ability to stay signed in.

We send two kinds of email: transactional messages about your account and activity (verification, password resets, outbid and win notices, receipts) and occasional marketing about inventory and upcoming auctions. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing never affects transactional messages you need to complete a purchase.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Platform — payment processing (Square), email delivery, hosting and database infrastructure — and with the counterparty to your transaction to the extent needed to complete a sale (for example, title transfer paperwork). We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect against fraud.

We keep account and transaction records for as long as your account is active and as required for legal, tax, and dispute- resolution purposes. Passwords are hashed, traffic is encrypted in transit, and access to production data is limited to staff who need it.

You can update your name, email, phone number, and password from your account settings at any time, and manage marketing email via the unsubscribe link in any message. To request a copy or deletion of your personal information, contact us — we will honor requests to the extent the law allows, noting that records of completed vehicle sales must be retained.
